As Chief Trading Officer, Mr. Matsuda oversees the execution of the Firm’s global equity trading platform, is a Director of Los Angeles Capital and is a member of the Firm’s Investment Committee. He is responsible for the design and implementation of efficient, low cost program trading strategies and post trade evaluation analyses. Mr. Matsuda and the Trading division work collaboratively with Portfolio Management and Operations to tactically implement cost effective portfolio trades in more than 40 global markets.

Mr. Matsuda manages the Firm’s portfolio trading strategy and proprietary trading technology and advises the Firm’s Information Technology division in designing and developing technological enhancements and tools for the trading platform.

Prior to co-founding Los Angeles Capital, Mr. Matsuda was a Vice President and Principal at Wilshire Associates where he also served as Wilshire Asset Management’s Director of Trading. Before joining the Asset Management division at Wilshire, Mr. Matsuda spent four years in the Equity Management Services division, assisting institutional and corporate clientele in the development of customized solutions for equity portfolio management problems.
