Steve Oetomo

About Steve

Mr. Oetomo oversees Los Angeles Capital’s IT infrastructure, and is responsible for supporting the Firm’s computer systems, backups, and network. In addition, he oversees the Firm’s cloud computing, databases, and disaster recovery and business continuity program. Most importantly, Mr. Oetomo is responsible for Los Angeles Capital’s analytical systems, which support the enhancement of existing models and the research into new factors. Finally, the IT team, for which Mr. Oetomo serves as Director, is responsible for supporting the portfolio and trading platforms, along with overall quality control and assurance of the Firm’s software and hardware infrastructure.

Prior to joining Los Angeles Capital, Mr. Oetomo was lead developer for Wilshire’s Atlas product, an important component in Los Angeles Capital’s analytical system, and was responsible for the creation of an application programming interface, which has been incorporated into Los Angeles Capital’s research platform.
